Data processing when visiting this website
You can read every page of this website without giving us any personal data. There is no registration, no login, no contact form and no input field of any kind. Nothing you do on this site is stored on your device or sent anywhere for measurement.
The only personal data that necessarily arises is what your browser transmits to the web server in order to deliver the page at all. That is described in the next section.
Server log files
Each time a page is requested, the hosting provider's web server records the request in a log file. This happens automatically and is technically necessary to deliver the website. The data typically comprises the requesting IP address, the date and time of the request, the page or file requested, the amount of data transferred, the HTTP status code, the referring page and the browser and operating system in use.
The purpose is to deliver the website reliably, to keep it stable and secure, and to trace technical faults and misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in operating a website that works and is protected against attack. This data is not merged with other sources and is not used to identify you as a person.
Log files are deleted after seven days at the latest. Where an attack on the systems makes it necessary, individual log files may be kept beyond that until the incident has been dealt with.
Hosting
This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, owner René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. The servers are located in Germany.
The provider processes the data described above solely on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place for this purpose.
Cookies and local storage
This website sets no cookies. Not by us, and not by anyone else, because no third-party content is loaded that could set any. It also writes nothing to your browser's local storage, session storage or IndexedDB. You will not see a cookie banner here, because there is nothing to consent to.
External resources
Every resource this website needs is delivered from our own domain: the stylesheet, the script, all images and icons, the fonts and the videos. No content delivery network, no font service, no external media platform is involved. In particular, fonts are served from our own server rather than from Google Fonts, and the videos are ordinary files on our domain rather than embedded players.
As a result, simply opening a page of this website transmits your IP address to no one except the hosting provider named above.
Analytics and tracking
We use no web analytics, no tracking pixels, no heatmaps and no session recording. There is no reach measurement, no conversion tracking and no advertising network. We do not create user profiles, and we do not follow you across other websites.
Contacting us by email
If you write to us at the address given above, we process your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever your message contains, for the sole purpose of answering you.
Where your enquiry concerns a contract or steps taken prior to entering one, the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. In all other cases it is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to us. Please note that email is not an encrypted channel unless you encrypt it yourself.
Your correspondence is stored for six months after the request has been fully handled, unless statutory retention obligations require us to keep it longer.
Outbound links to social networks
The footer of our home page links to our profiles on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. These are plain links, not embedded content: nothing is loaded from those providers while you are on our site, and they learn nothing about your visit unless you click.
If you do click, you leave this website and data is transmitted to the provider concerned, including your IP address and, if you are logged in there, the ability to link the visit to your account. Instagram passes it to Meta, TikTok to ByteDance, YouTube to Google. What happens then is governed by that provider's own privacy policy, and it is outside our control.
Switching to the SILLQ Studio
The buttons labelled Start Free, Log in and Start Designing lead to studio.sillq.com, which is a separate application on its own subdomain. Following one of these links takes you out of this website.
A separate privacy policy applies to the Studio, covering registration, accounts and the data you create while designing. This policy here describes only the website you are currently reading.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights in respect of your personal data. To exercise any of them, an email to the address above is enough.
- Art. 15 GDPR, right of access. You may ask whether we process data about you and, if so, receive a copy of it.
- Art. 16 GDPR, right to rectification. You may have inaccurate data corrected and incomplete data completed.
- Art. 17 GDPR, right to erasure. You may have your data deleted where there is no longer a lawful reason to keep it.
- Art. 18 GDPR, right to restriction of processing. You may require us to hold data without further use while a dispute over it is resolved.
- Art. 19 GDPR, notification obligation. We must inform every recipient of your data about a rectification, erasure or restriction, unless that proves impossible.
- Art. 20 GDPR, right to data portability. You may receive data you provided in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and have it transmitted to another controller.
- Art. 21 GDPR, right to object. Where we rely on legitimate interests under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you may object to the processing on grounds relating to your particular situation.
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Irrespective of any other remedy, you have the right under Art. 77 GDPR to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
The authority competent for our registered office is:
Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg
Lautenschlagerstraße 20
70173 Stuttgart, Germany
Automated decision-making
No automated decision-making and no profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place on this website. There is no mechanism here that could do so: no analytics, no user accounts and no processing of your data beyond the server log described above.
